iPhone + Applications = Addictive

So I finally broke down and purchased an iPhone. After two years with my love affair with my Crackberry, I needed something that offered even more. With the Blackberry being one of the best data phones out, the only one that hadn’t tried in it’s league was the new 3G iPhone.

I purchased the iPhone for the initial reasons of it being different, compatible with my Mac, and the sleek look of it. What they dont advertise…is that the applications available for it are addictive.

The iPhone comes with your standard applications, you know, Contacts, Text Messaging, Calculator…the same things you can get with an other phone. What makes the iPhone my new love are the tons and tons of applications. Basically, there is an application for just about anything you want one for. The coolest part of it is that so many of them are free or $0.99. Imagine all the possibilities under a dollar.

Here’s a list of the applications I’m swiping my way through…

Beejive - for those of us that have ids on way too many instant messengers. Check this out, using this application doesn’t count against your text messaging allowance. Convenience and savings…I’ve died and went to heaven. Available at www.beejive.com

If Found - if my iphone is ever lost, here’s my info to return it to me. Pretty please.

Pandora-streaming radio that you customize.

Voice Dialer - ah, a voice dialer.

Facebook - okay, who isn’t on Facebook? If you raised your hand, please put it down and go sign up.

Games - Moonlight Lite, for the mahjong lover….Firedrop, another Chinese tile game…Eyeof Ra, another tile game…WordSearchSol Free (Solitaire)

Passwords- an application to keep track of my many passwords for my many places I need them

iScope - horoscopes

iChing - iChing, enough said.

Wordpress - yes, I can blog onto my sites right from my iPhone.

iRelax- great natural sounds and a timer for meditating

Movies - movie showtimes at your fingertips

These are just a few of the many, many applications availble for iPhone users. So if you are in the market for a new cell phone, one that is so much more than a cell phone…iPhone’s application gives you endless opportunity for fun, productivity, and sensibility.
